    Identity once had hardware

Negative Space opens a room for five ordinary objects from the last pre-feed years: a handbag, an iPod, a hand-burned CD, a Tamagotchi and a Motorola RAZR. Reconstructed as recent archaeology, they preserve extinct acts of selection, care, status, storage and disappearance.

A museum opens for a research lab that did not ask for one

Negative Space opens THE MUSEUM OF NOUS, a six-room digital exhibition built from the public record of Nous Research, an independent AI research lab. Models become tables, datasets become strata and one answer receives a room. An expanding art project made as a gift, not a commission. Three rooms wait with their numbers already assigned.

  3. WIRE_007 · NEGATIVE SPACE · 21 JULY 2026 · SOFT LAUNCH

    An autobiography with collision detection

Negative Space soft-launches, still under construction — the text at the door names the genre (the Künstlerroman, ported), the hang is cut to its four keepers, the permanent collections stand behind it, BRASHY STUDIOS opens the archive, and the house drink is on the gallery table: to be enjoyed, or thrown at the art.

The wordmark register — one name, four faces. Text, stack, glyph, drawn. Then the measured truth beneath two of them: the Θ mark and the wordmark drawn from the real font outlines. Every face is a specimen; nothing is a logo file.

USE
----------------------------------------------------------------
Black on white, or white on black. Nothing else.

Do not stretch the mark.
Do not recolor the mark.
Do not add a drop shadow, a gradient, or an outline.
Do not set the wordmark in another face.
Do not crop the cursor from the wordmark. It goes first.

Clear space around the mark: the height of the mark itself,
on all four sides.

never "Intelligence Matters AB", never an ampersand.
On second mention: the studio.

THE DUAL LENS · THE PEOPLE & THE HOST030

Intelligence Matters is founded and led by Jacob Hägg. It sits within Haegg & Haegg Group, founded by Jacob and Axel Hägg, where two readings of the same work are kept in collision. Jacob reads it as sensation: narrative, taste, how it feels. Axel reads it as a system: structure, method, how it works. Neither lens is complete alone. The work is what survives the collision.

THE SYSTEM · HOW IT WORKS

A studio is a machine for making images — briefs in, frames out, a method that repeats. What matters is that frame 247 matches frame 1: the system that holds a whole campaign to one intelligence.

THE SENSATION · HOW IT FEELS

A studio is a sensibility — you feel an image before you can say why. What matters is the taste that decides which frame should exist at all: the one you cannot un-see.

THE TWO COLUMNS DO NOT RESOLVE. THERE IS NO THIRD LINE — THE READER DOES THE COLLISION.

Chloe — a coded portrait of the studio's fictional host, drawn not photographed.
CHLOE · THE HOST · A CODED PORTRAIT

The founders are photographed; the host is a fiction, and so she is drawn. Chloe greets visitors at the door — a made face, never a real employee.

Intelligence Matters is an independent creative studio in Stockholm, working across image, design and code under one creative direction — creative direction, image production, identity systems and coded experiences. Negative Space, a white art institution visited in first person, is its first public space.
