Intelligence Matters conceptualised and produced a three-frame artist image layer for musician NIIA, produced with the permission of the artist.

Monastic black-and-white portraiture and synthetic porcelain studio studies were produced inside one system, holding the same performer across both surfaces.

The brief called for a cohesive set of artist press and release stills capable of moving between stark monochrome editorial placements and synthetic gallery portraiture.

In sequence: a heavy black wool cowl draped over a white poplin collar; a brushed-aluminium skullcap and white leather zip jacket under raking shadow; a high-key porcelain bust in tinted wire-rimmed spectacles.

Concept, casting, creative direction and image production were carried out in house by Intelligence Matters and signed off directly by the artist.
